Cultural Diversity in Ageing Conference 2018
The Cultural Diversity in Ageing Conference 2018 will be held on Friday 15 June at the iconic Arts Centre Melbourne. This year’s theme, Setting Standards, showcases the latest range of initiatives and resources that can support inclusive practice in the aged care sector. The Conference provides a platform for policy makers, aged care service managers and leaders to explore how they can work towards implementing organisation wide initiatives that ensure the needs of older people from diverse backgrounds are met.
The conference will feature presentations from the winners and finalists of the Cultural Diversity in Ageing Excellence Awards 2018. Winners will be announced at the Cultural Diversity in Ageing Excellence Awards dinner to be held on Thursday 14 June.
The conference is hosted by the Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing through Australian Government Department of Health, Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care (PICAC) funding.

Cultural Diversity in Ageing Excellence Awards Dinner
The Cultural Diversity in Ageing Excellence Awards dinner will be held on Thursday 14 June at the Arts Centre and is included in Conference registration. Additional tickets can be purchased separately. The winners of the 2018 Cultural Diversity in Ageing Excellence Awards will be announced. Nominations are now closed.

The program will include examples of quality initiatives, as recognised through the Cultural Diversity in Ageing Excellence Awards and will highlight best practice at organisational and service delivery levels as well as exceptional commitment and practice shown by individuals.

Venue
The Pavilion sits beneath the iconic Spire of the Arts Centre, Australia's largest and busiest performing arts centre. Located just across the Yarra from Flinders Street Station and with a tram stop directly in front of it, this is a convenient location for delegates commuting into the city or staying at one of the numerous hotels in the CBD.

Parking
The Arts Centre is offering a discounted parking rate for Conference delegates of $17.00 (flat rate) for each day of the conference (Thursday evening and Friday). If you wish to take this option, please hold onto the parking ticket you receive upon entering the car park and we will give you an additional parking ticket at the registration desk.
Conference Registration
Conference registration is $300 (incl. GST) and includes a ticket to the Cultural Diversity in Ageing Excellence Awards dinner.
Separate tickets for the Cultural Diversity in Ageing Conference Dinner can be purchased for $120 (incl. GST) per person.
