ADEC Art Exhibition- 'From the Street to the Beach'- Artist’s impressions of “Summer” on Show
6-14 December, The Atrium, Federation Square Melbourne
A vibrant and inspiring art exhibition in the Atrium at Federation Square during 6-14 December will showcase over 150 works created by 93 ethnic artists living with a disability. The exhibition is called ADEC ArtAbility™ 2010 uniting talented artists of all ages representing cultures from Africa, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Greece, Syria, Russia and Poland to name a few.
The 93 artists have been handpicked from all over Melbourne by the curator for ADEC (Action Disability Ethnic Communities) to present quality paintings (oil, acrylic, ink), sketches on canvas, sculptures, tapestries and photographs; these works reflect their perceptions as to what “Summer” means to them living in Victoria.
