Eastern Health calls for multicultural community members
Eastern Health is seeking consumer participation from members of our multicultural community. They are asking for assistance to spread the word to culturally and linguistically diverse community members you may know or be working with, to ensure multicultural communities have a say in the way they provide health care.
Eastern Health is the major provider of public health services in the eastern region of Melbourne. They are currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic people, who would like to contribute to ongoing improvements in the health service. Their major sites include Angliss Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Healesville & District Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, Peter James Centre, Turning Point Alcohol & Drug Centre, Wantirna Health, Yarra Ranges Health and Yarra Valley Community Health. Eastern Health covers communities living mainly in the cities of Whitehorse, Manningham, Knox, Maroondah and Yarra Ranges.
Eastern Health currently has vacancies for voluntary members on our Community Advisory Committee and our consumer register. The role of community members is to ensure consumer voices are heard across the health service, and that our health care services are accessible, high quality and responsive to the needs of the community.
